MKTG 345 Week 4 Metric Analysis of Dreamchaser

Below is a few metrics from the google analytics dashboard for Dreamchaser. The first metric I decided to look at was the amount of new traffic on the site. The graphic below shows traffic for the past month.
  • This graph shows us that we have had 19% of viewers on the site for the first time and the other 81% were returning to the site
  • This data helps us analyse that out of the 120 sessions how many people have come back for another session 
Another metric I analysed was the top sources. This graphic shows how people came to the site.
  • From this data we see most people have done a google search to get to the site
  • It also shows what websites can direct you to Dreamchaser and how effective each one is 
The last metric I analysed was sessions. This chart shows us how many people entered the site on a specific day.
  • This session graph shows us that on there is a trend of about 15-25 people visiting per day
  • This graph however is not an accurate representation for all time trends, the graphic below shows the amount of sessions for the past 30 days,look at the differences.

I have been staying away from Introduction to SEO the past few weeks because I have been writing thing that are prominent in SEO and AI. The trade off was this is a smaller book and I will still get through the entire thing. Chapter 5 is try see. In this chapter we are walked through the process of using SEO on our blog. This process will gain page views by the use of links. We also dive into basic HTML. The main point of the chapter is to get your feet wet when implementing SEO.

MKTG 348 Week 10 Surfing The Tsunami

The last chapter of Surfing The Tsunami is what to do next. This chapter has example of what to do after you finish the book. When I read this the first thing I know I want to study is Tableau. This software is really prominent in the analytics field of data visualization. Another thing I want to study is a programing software like R or C++. I believe that if I am able to learn these programs that my resume will fit most entry level jobs in analytics or digital marketing.
