Chapter three in What Color is Your Parachute is titled, There Are Over Ten Million Vacancies Available Each Month. All this chapter is about is job hunting and how to fill all of the open spots available. This chapter gives you a few points of thinking but also states that this changes yearly and you need to stay with the trends.

The first point of the chapter job handing is an art. This translates to you need to be creative in hunting for a job and paint a picture with your skill set. The next idea is that job hunting is mysterious. Things just tend to happen during the job hunt so take what opportunities open themselves to you. Another hint for job hunting in this chapter is that there is no always wrong or right way to get a job. I know many stories where people stalk a hiring manager to get a job. This is probably not a good option but it is not always wrong. The last hint from WCYP is job hunting should be a full time job. If you are not constantly looking for new employment you can be stuck if you ever loose a job and can always find better opportunities.
