MKTG - Week 2 Intro To Google Analytics
The first chapter in Introduction to Google Analytics is an opener to the book. This chapter is an overview of what you should understand from reading the book and how to understand analytics. When I was reading this chapter one section stood out at me and that was social media marketing. In this short paragraph it talks about getting hits onto your social media pages and posts.
Last year I decided to do some experimenting on my twitter account and wanted to see what types of posts had the most interactions and views here are the tweets I posted:
What I was able to conclude was to you need to connect to your target audience and have them share or RT the posts to gain more views. The most views I received are posts that have been re tweeted by someone not in my circle of followers. This also increased my followers by 10 in a 3 day span.
When it comes to social media marketing and analytics it is important to increase traffic by engaging people to share your posts and to put out as much content as possible.
