The first secret for negotiating strategy is to never discuss salary until the end of the negotiation process.The second secret of salary negotiation is to make the employer hint at what is the most they will pay you is. The third strategy is never be the first one to name a figure of money. Forth is before you go to the interview research typical salaries in that field and in that organization. The fifth is to research the range of payment the employer has in mind. And last is to know how to close, do not leave the payment figure lingering. These strategy will help you secure the payment that is fair for your work. They will help you create a figure that you are willing to work for and will give you satisfaction of working for the organization.

The 6th Chapter in Introduction to Google Analytics is all about Google AdWords. This service is also a class at my university which I plan on taking in my next semester. AdWords is all about search engine advertisements. What it comes down to is paying to promote your website on google. When a company uses AdWords they pay google to place their website as the top search for a key word. one example of this is when you type in car. When this is searched the top two sites are Carmax and Truecar. These companies will generally gain way more hits because they are at the top of the search page.

Chapter 5 in Introduction To Google Analytics is all about creating a Shopify account. This account allows you to sell on your website. The chapter is a step by step process of how to create the account and understand the service. After setting up Shopify the biggest concept you need to understand is ROI or return on investment. This theory is all about cost analysis of products or services. This chapter has you set up the account so you can sell products. The service of Shopify does require a monthly payment however. So when looking on ROI you have to calculate the cost of the service by how much profit you are making by having the account. Basically Shopify is great when looking to sell a product and gaining data from the sales of your products.

MKTG Week 5 WCYP Chapter4

Chapter 4 in What Color is Your Parachute is about interviewing tips. I would like to talk about two tips I was unaware of and they were the 50-50 rule and 20 seconds to 2 minute rule. These are just two of the 16 tips the book gives you on the interviewing process. The 50-50 rule basically is split your time talking and listening to 50% each. When interviewing make sure to talk by answering their questions but also give the interviewer time to explain things and talk about the job. I never thought about this rule because interviews are about the corporation gaining more information about you so I inferred that you would do most of the talking. The other rule in WCYP that I was unaware of is the 20-2 rule. An answer under 20 seconds makes you seem like you lack social skills. Any answer over 2 minutes is seen as you are rambling and it is best to be concise with your answers. In chapter four of Introduction to Google Analytics we are learning about reviewing performance of campaigns from the previous chapter. When analyzing this data there are things to look out for such as demographics of the viewers but also have some negative data points like bots. The first step to reviewing your post is looking at the sites analytics. In the book they use a Facebook ad to show how much traffic you had from payment and also how much from regular views. This will help you to understand if it is worth it to continue promoting your posts. Another thing you can look at when reviewing is where the viewers are located. Location is huge when it comes to marketing and the more you can find out about your consumer the better you can target your market. One possible problem you can find when reviewing is the placement of bots that are viewing. These are automated sites that float the web creating clicks.
