MKTG 345 Week 10 YouTube Analytics

YouTube like many social networking sites has now introduced an analytics section to their service. The difference between YouTube and many other sites is that YouTube pays filmmakers for views on videos and subscribers. This makes the analytics section very pressing because they can use this data to make more money by expanding their viewership.
The people that make the most money off YouTube are the vlogers and viral video creators. Vlogs are video blogs that are usual daily. This means filmmakers have the most subscribers and video views. The best part of YouTube is you can go viral by creating anything. Some of the things that I am personally subscribed to are the Googan Squad and DallMyD. Both of these vlogers are making lots of money based on their page views even though they are not your average vlogs. Googan Squad is a group of amateur fishing vlogers who came together to make cool fishing videos. DallMyD is a vlog about diving in local rivers and finding his "treasure." This consists of Phones, Cameras, and guns which he tries to give back to the original owner. This just shows you if you have a passion for something start filming it and make money. To be successful look at your analytics to narrow down on your target market to achieve even more subscribers.

I have been staying away from Introduction to SEO the past few weeks because I have been writing thing that are prominent in SEO and AI. The trade off was this is a smaller book and I will still get through the entire thing. Chapter 5 is try see. In this chapter we are walked through the process of using SEO on our blog. This process will gain page views by the use of links. We also dive into basic HTML. The main point of the chapter is to get your feet wet when implementing SEO.

MKTG 348 Week 10 Surfing The Tsunami

The last chapter of Surfing The Tsunami is what to do next. This chapter has example of what to do after you finish the book. When I read this the first thing I know I want to study is Tableau. This software is really prominent in the analytics field of data visualization. Another thing I want to study is a programing software like R or C++. I believe that if I am able to learn these programs that my resume will fit most entry level jobs in analytics or digital marketing.
